CALL FOR PAPERS: Northern Links 7th No Fuss Conference

On 3-4 March 2018, Chinese Heritage in North Australia (CHINA Inc) will present their 7th ‘no fuss’ conference in Townsville.
The theme of the 2018 conference is titled Northern Links: protecting their interests and pushing back. It aims to explore themes of settlement, adaption, integration, solutions and creative responses to institutional impediments imposed on the Chinese community. We accept a broad interpretation of our theme, as well as creative fringe ideas! We are not limited to northern Australia, but papers must reflect a link to the deep north.
The conference is currently calling for abstracts, which should be submitted by 20 December 2017. A response will be sent to all submitters by 6 January 2018. Abstracts (300–500 words) should include the title of the proposed paper, author/s name, institution or affiliations (if any), contact details and a brief biography about each author. Please submit abstracts or queries to the organisers via or for more information about CHINA Inc, please visit their website.
