Professional Historians Association (Qld) Inc. is proud to announce the next Professional Historians Association conference will be held in Brisbane. Due to COVID-19, the conference will not proceed on the scheduled dates originally advertised.

We will provide an update later in the year after reviewing Federal Government travel and public gathering restrictions, and will communicate new dates for the conference to speakers, the PHA Membership, and professional partners in due course.

The 2020 conference theme is History Transmitted: connect – consider – challenge. The conference aims to highlight and interrogate ways in which historians work and adapt to changing audiences and technologies, as well as share experiences and learnings from recent projects which they have undertaken.

Please find attached a Call For Papers, which outlines the theme of the conference, and details for potential presenters. Abstracts were due by Friday 28 February 2020.
