Positions available: Queensland Heritage Council and Register Team

The Queensland  Department of Environment and Heritage Protection’s Queensland Heritage Council and Register Team have recently advertised two heritage officer positions. As a member of this team, you will play a key part in a multidisciplinary group that undertakes the statutory process by which places are assessed for entry in, or removal from, the Queensland heritage register The team provides policy direction to DEHP, manages the statutory processes associated with the Queensland heritage register (in particular applications for entry of places in the register) and provides expert advice and administrative assistance to the Queensland Heritage Council. It also maintains the currency of information about places in the Queensland heritage register.
