I have a lengthy history and heritage experience, including an array of research, heritage assessment and management, curatorial and collection management roles with a number of government departments, local councils, museums and historical societies.

An independent historian researching and writing histories and significance assessments for institutions, organisations and individuals. My style of writing draws on high level research of primary and secondary sources that are presented in a narrative style. This approach provides academic level research that is readily comsumed by the general reader. I endevour to provide an empathetic view of history though weaving the lived experience of individuals into my narratives. History should be felt while it is learned.
